GALLOS Technologies invests in Second Front Systems’ Series B round to collaborate on accelerated delivery of commercial software to global public sector

GALLOS, an investor in early-stage (Series Seed through Series B) companies that are developing innovative security-focused solutions, is pleased to announce its follow-on investment in Second Front Systems™ (2F), a public-benefit software company accelerating the delivery of mission-critical software solutions to the government.

The investment is part of 2F’s previously closed $40 million funding round led by NEA and will help further 2F’s expansion into Australia, NATO, and other critical allied markets.

GALLOS joins other major investors in this round, including NEA, Moore Strategic Ventures, AEI HorizonX and ARTIS Ventures. GALLOS previously invested $2 million in 2F’s Series A round to support their entry into the UK market, helping to position its fully managed and compliant DevSecOps platform Game Warden® as a software bridge between the two allied nations.

“This investment in Second Front demonstrates the importance of allied collaboration and of opening partner markets to enable the UK to access and exploit best in class security technologies,” said GALLOS co-founders and Managing Partners Josh Burch and Dean Jones.

GALLOS’s mission is to build and invest in new companies developing cutting-edge security technologies. Their venture investment business provides capital for earl-stage companies, working together with portfolio companies to offer the technical, operational, and go-to-market advice needed to scale businesses and solve critical security problems. 2F will leverage GALLOS’s patient capital and unique insights, network, and capabilities to accelerate their growth and access new markets.

“We are excited to continue supporting Second Front as it accelerates its global national security footprint and continues its mission to deliver cutting-edge software solutions addressing the evolving challenges of our time,” said William Kilmer, General Partner and Head of Ventures at GALLOS.
